Claims Service Specialist

$20.84 - $26.05 per hour

Job Overview As an Auto Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will reassure customers and offer solutions with empathy and care. You will guide policyholders through their coverage and the steps to get back on the road safely. Responsibilities Manage incoming calls, collect accident facts, investigate claim details, and collect statements from involved parties. Assist in the process of getting customers back on the road and resolve their concerns to ensure a positive experience. Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions and timely claim resolution. Qualifications Customer‑facing claims experience preferred. Active Adjusters license preferred. High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and empathy skills. Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms. Experience in a high‑volume call center with KPIs and measurable goals. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary $20.84–$26.05 per hour with additional differentials for evening and weekend shifts. Sign‑on bonus for licensed candidates. Health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and other wellness benefits available from Day1. Paid time off accrues immediately and includes 13 paid holidays annually. 401(k) with up to 6% match vested immediately. Tuition assistance up to $5,250 per year. Work can be 80% on‑site and 20% off‑site with additional off‑site weeks.
