Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform ICU-specific procedures per protocol.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; document responses and adjust care as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate tasks within the care team.
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines; communicate changes effectively.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize care and ensure patient safety.

Requirements
- ICU nursing experience (minimum 1 year) required
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States (state requirements per assignment)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; capable of functioning in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; able to supervise and coordinate care across disciplines
