Certifications: BLS, SGNA preferred
Must-Have:
- Experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, infection control, and sterilization/disinfection
- Ability to assist with biopsies and perform universal protocol procedures
- Familiarity with Omnicell med system and Meditech Expanse EMR
Description:
This role requires a GI Tech for a community hospital.
The patient base includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Provider support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, respiratory services, social services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
Coverage is provided by intensivists, hospitalists, and anesthesiologists.
Two years of experience is required.
First-time travelers are not eligible.
Weekend shifts are required based on census needs.
Call is required, including one weekend and five weekday nights per month.
Scrubs will be provided.

- Inpatient and outpatient endoscopy center experience

- Familiarity with various scopes and endoscopic procedures
- Ability to process instruments and maintain cleanliness standards
- Experience with high-level disinfection and restoring supplies to procedure rooms
