Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly and courteously. Menu Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of the dining menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Assist members and guests in making informed menu choices and provide recommendations as needed. Order Taking: Accurately take guests’ food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff. Relay orders promptly and accurately to the kitchen. Table Preparation: Set and maintain elegant table settings, ensuring they meet the standards for cleanliness and presentation. Ensure tables are appropriately arranged for the number of guests in the party. Beverage Service: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and guidelines. Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other waitstaff members to ensure smooth and timely service. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress/bartender is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations. Proficiency in wine and beverage service etiquette. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a polished appearance. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS – ABILITY TO: Mobility required during the entire shift. Ability to grasp, lift, carry or transport up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, walk frequently; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to perform the duties of this job while exposed to outside weather conditions. Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word accurately, loudly and quickly.
