Role Description This full-time Automotive Technician role is an on-site position located in Richmond, VA. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, fluid checks, and scheduled service tasks. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing automotive issues, completing oil changes, handling suspension-related work, and performing general maintenance and repair on a variety of vehicles. The technician will follow established safety procedures, maintain accurate service records, and use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and correctly. Collaboration with service advisors and other team members to prioritize work orders and deliver timely, high-quality service is an important part of this role. Qualifications Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation. Ability to perform Oil Changes and basic fluid services according to manufacturer specifications. Experience in Automotive Repair and general Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting mechanical issues. Knowledge of Suspension systems and related components, with the ability to diagnose and repair suspension problems. Relevant technical training or certification in automotive technology is preferred. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, work orders, and diagnostic reports. Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in a shop environment. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company and industry standards.
