CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Chartwells K12 is hiring for full-time and part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker positions at the Union R-XI School District in Union, MO. The role involves operating a Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the coffee and cashier stations. While previous experience in food service is preferred, it is not required, and the pay rate is set at $15.00 per hour. Job Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean. Essential duties and responsibilities include helping prepare foods, performing cashier duties using the POS system, performing general cleaning duties, providing service in all retail areas, making deposits at the end of each shift, inventorying and restocking supplies and food products, setting up serving line, serving hot and cold items to customers, keeping refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule, stocking pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis, recording replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit, and recording refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily. Performs other duties as assigned.
