Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patient needs and effectively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy during individual, couple, and family sessions.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community and alleviate common mental health challenges.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and care.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, therapy options, and available resources in the community.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse roster of clients facing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. The population served is a mix of adults and families, each requiring unique approaches to treatment that respect their individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.

• Experience with crisis intervention and management strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
