Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Clearwater Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this welcoming, fast‑paced setting, you will support guests and staff through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a caring, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.90 / Hour Schedule: Thursday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Friday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Saturday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sunday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating with hotel or resort personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, amenities, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe on‑site activity, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post instructions. Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or guest interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
