Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied shift schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; ENPC and TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Minimum 2+ years previous Emergency Room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher - Experience with Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke - EPIC charting experience Description: This is a Level II Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center. The unit consists of 5 pods and 49 beds. The maximum nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1. The facility has an annual visit volume of 68,000. Agency staff must be W-2 employees of their respective agency. Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions may require floating as needed. Holiday coverage is required.
