Director of Patient Access

To enhance patient therapy initiation, the fully remote Director of Patient Access will manage prior authorization performance, oversee a multi-tiered team, and build partnerships with Field Reimbursement Manager teams while ensuring timely and accurate processing of authorizations. Key Responsibilities Own and manage prior authorization turnaround time and queue health, ensuring performance targets are met Lead troubleshooting of high-priority PA issues and coordinate complex escalations across various teams Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, performance metrics, and operational workflow enhancements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in prior authorization, patient access, or reimbursement, including leadership experience Direct experience managing or partnering with Field Reimbursement Manager teams Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements Knowledge of payer and PBM landscapes, prior authorization requirements, and specialty medication access barriers
