Travel RN - CVOR

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7AM - 5PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel RN with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings. This position focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing open heart surgeries, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures. The CVOR RN will work collaboratively with a team of professionals including Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures in the CVOR.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to implement and evaluate care plans.
• Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient data management.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience.
• Active Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
