Power Platform Developer and Architect

Job Summary:

The DHHS MS Power Platform Developer & Architect will design and develop a statewide billing system for establishments holding food, lodging, pool, and tattoo permits. This role involves recreating and enhancing an existing end-of-life software solution using Microsoft Power Platform technologies to ensure efficient billing, invoicing, payment tracking, and reporting. The developer will also implement a robust application lifecycle management (ALM) system across development, UAT, and production environments. Responsibilities:

• Develop a data pipeline to synchronize SQL data from an AWS-hosted cloud database to Microsoft Dataverse.
• Extract and manage lists of active facilities to serve as billing census.
• Create automations linked to Dynamics records for invoice generation, emailing, and payment tracking.
• Integrate PayIt for online payment processing and reconciliation of payment reports into Dynamics.
• Manage check payments by logging, submitting, and reconciling with controller records.
• Maintain all invoicing communications within the case management system, linking calls and emails to relevant records.
• Develop reporting tools to analyze invoicing metrics and program performance.
• Establish and maintain a robust ALM process across Development, UAT, and Production environments with synchronized components.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation.
• Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Virtual Agent, and Dataverse.
• Strong knowledge of SQL database structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective task prioritization and time management skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Microsoft Certification: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher.

• Absences longer than two weeks require prior approval and must provide reachable contact information.

• Strict adherence to compensation laws, including overtime payment regulations.
• Credential validation and accuracy attestation are mandatory.

Scheduling:

• Assignment duration from July 13, 2026, to July 12, 2027.
• Work schedule and interview type flexible: either webcam or in-person interviews accepted.
• Availability for the full duration of the assignment is strongly preferred.
