Compensation - $200,000 - $300,000 Base + Competitive Equity

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy production AI systems that solve real-world business problems
• Build and scale LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and reasoning systems
• Develop and maintain production-grade ML pipelines and application infrastructure
• Translate customer and business requirements into practical AI solutions
• Define evaluation frameworks and success metrics for deployed AI systems
• Optimize model performance, reliability, and production readiness
• Work directly with enterprise customers, government organizations, and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams
• Own projects end-to-end from problem definition through deployment and iteration
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical decision-making
• Help shape the future direction of AI products across multiple industries

Ideal Candidate Background
Experience Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience building production AI/ML applications
• Strong track record of shipping customer-facing ML products into production
• Experience working in startup environments or fast-moving product organizations
• Demonstrated business or customer impact from AI/ML work
• Experience owning projects from ideation through deployment
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience
• Founding Engineer, startup, or entrepreneurial experience preferred

Technical Requirements

• Strong Python engineering and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience building production LLM applications
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, reasoning systems, and modern LLM workflows
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks
• Familiarity with ML evaluation frameworks and model performance measurement
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design capability
• Experience deploying production ML systems at scale
• Ability to balance model quality with product and business requirements

Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
• Strong academic background from a top technical program preferred
