Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the capital investment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Oversee capital investments related to the company's fixed assets, from conceptual studies through project closeout.
• Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel and funding, to ensure project objectives are met within scope and budget.
• Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Support design, procurement, and implementation phases, ensuring optimal plant layout and equipment selection.
• Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders to promote project success and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1-3+ years of experience in project engineering or related technical fields.
• Experience with project management, process engineering, or manufacturing environments, especially in food, dairy, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or consumer products industries.
• Supervisory experience managing internal and external project teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Visio, and project tracking tools.
