Summary: Assist technologists during procedures in order to expedite the best diagnosis to patient and deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Greets patients, directs patient flow from waiting rooms to exam rooms. Has patient fill out proper forms if applicable.
• Evaluates patient prescriptions to ensure proper exam is performed pertaining to individual ailment.
• Orders and completes all cerner functions.
• Changes patient and prepares patient for procedure.
• Performs exam with technologist and offers assistance to patient, technologist, & radiologist throughout entire procedure.
• Retrieves x-rays, medical records, nuclear medicine reports and develops radiographs as needed.
• Brings films to radiologist to evaluate.
• Cleans exam room following procedures and restocks used materials.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Skills Experience: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT

Other Information: Required: Minimum Experience: zero to six months Desired: Previous experience in radiological services, knowledge of human anatomy, knowledge of department procedures.
