Role: AR Specialist

Location: North Plainfield, New Jersey

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 / year

A Central NJ Real Estate company is looking for an AR Specialist to join a growing team.

• Managed tenant ledgers and cash applications ( checks, ACH, lockbox) across multiple commercial properties using IBS blue, IBS web, and Yardi
• Tracked delinquencies, prepared demand notices, and worked with attorneys on defaults, evictions, and proof of claim packages.
• Implemented new collection processes as well as streamlined reporting.
• Generated reporting for CFO, Controller and Property Managers to guide decisions.
• Collaborated with accounting legal and Property Management to ensure timely resolutions of accounts.
• Assisted with month and close by reconciling our ledgers adjustments and credits.
• Reviewed and reconciled monthly rent variances and recurring charges for accuracy.
• Created and distributed financial statements, rent escalation letters, and operating expense adjustments.
• Maintained organized digital records to support Audits and compliance .
• Delivered exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving account discrepancies promptly.
