Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, planning for discharge, and home exercise protocols
• Document assessments, treatments, and advancements according to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to facilitate coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
