Oracle EBS Functional Analyst

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Oracle EBS Functional Analyst for one of our clients.

Position Title - Oracle EBS Functional Analyst

Type: Full Time

Summary:

Supports the operations and maintenance of Oracle Federal Financials for a federal agency at the department level. This position provides operational support for the Purchase Order and Account Payables modules. The team provides end-user support, upgrade support, and Hyperion, Unison PRISM, and data warehouse integration.

In This Role, A Typical Day Will Include The Following:

· Delivers Oracle Application (e.g., break fixes and enhancements) design, development, testing, and implementation in an Oracle E-Business Suite Applications R12 environment.

· Provides technical and functional knowledge and skills in Oracle Federal Financial Release 12.

· Collaborates with stakeholders, including the project team and key subject matter experts, in an effort to understand evolving business process requirements and needs of the toolset supporting the Agency's financial activities.

· Ensures software complies with the Oracle Application Development Framework.

· Collaborates with team members, as needed, to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and enhance Oracle EBS.

· Gathers the business requirements and understand the As-Is and To-Be processes requirements and translate them into solution designs.

· Identifies approaches and techniques to improve support services (e.g., change requests, technical and functional support).

· Collects and analyzes user requirements to understand and document the workflows.

· Provides user support including resolving help-desk tickets, user inquiries, user training, and other system support.

· Creates and manages reporting requirements that address current and future system user needs.

· Performs detailed analysis and application/business process designs.

· Prepares moderately complex flow charts, models, and procedures.

· Working understanding of change management processes.

· Coordinates and tests any development. Support user testing and related documentation.

· Provides input on project schedules and effort estimates.

· Prepares and maintain application documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

· BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or other related disciplines).

· 8+ years of increasingly responsible and relevant experience in finance systems and reporting.

· Federal finance experience is required.

· 5+ Technical and functional experience in Oracle EBS Release 12 and/or Federal finance processes.

· 5+ years of experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle workflows, Forms, and Reports.

· Strong experience in Purchase Orders (PO), Account Payables (AP) modules.

· Working understanding of Oracle Finance modules (GL, AR, FA).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability and willingness to expand knowledge and work independently under limited to no supervision.

· Effective communication (e.g., written and presentation) skills.

· Desire to take on new tasks as program requirements evolve.

· Experience supporting Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions in a cloud environment (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google)

· Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems through the identification and analysis of diverse issues.

· Ability to organize, prioritize, follow up and track multiple projects/tasks. Work efficiently with confidence and minimal oversight.

· Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, and other related software applications (e.g., process flow, collaboration tools, etc.) and the ability to expand current skills.
