TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Lansing, Michigan, 48912!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State license required by start date Certifications: BLS, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate), NRP Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Travel experience - Antepartum experience Description: Float between Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and OB Special Care as needed according to census. The Labor and Delivery unit has 12 labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, 3 operating rooms, 6 OB triage beds, and 8 OB special care units. The staffing model utilized in the unit is based on AWHONN guidelines. The unit serves as a referral center for high-risk obstetric care. The Mother Baby Center provides postpartum care for mothers and newborn care for babies. Caregivers in this unit follow Baby Friendly protocols. Candidates should be willing to work 3 weekends out of a 4-week schedule. All candidates must provide proof of high school level education. Experience with a high volume of facility births is preferred. All certifications must be active by the start date. Modules are not billable, and candidates should plan for training hours outside of scheduled shifts.
