Director, Global Transportation & Logistics Strategy The Director, Global Transportation & Logistics Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for designing, executing, and continuously optimizing the company's worldwide transportation network and third-party logistics (3PL) ecosystem. This individual will serve as the enterprise authority on freight strategy, carrier relationships, modal optimization, and logistics partner governance across all geographies — including North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America The Director will partner closely with commercial, operations, finance, and trade compliance teams to ensure the logistics network supports business growth, delivers competitive service levels, and achieves year-over-year cost efficiency. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires both strategic vision and the operational discipline to translate strategy into execution at scal e. KEY RESPONSIBILIT IES Global Transportation Stra tegy Define and own the multi-year global transportation strategy across all modes — ocean, air, road, rail, and p arcelLead network design initiatives to optimize routing, transit times, and cost across the international freight port folioEstablish carrier tiering, preferred partner programs, and performance governance frameworks glo ballyDrive modal shift and consolidation strategies to reduce per-unit freight spend and carbon foot printPartner with commercial teams to ensure logistics strategy is aligned with customer service commitments and SLAs Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Partnership Mana gement Oversee a global portfolio of 3PL partners including warehousing, fulfillment, last-mile, and value-added logistics pr ovidersLead 3PL RFP, selection, onboarding, and performance management processes to ensure best-in-class service an d valueDevelop and maintain rigorous KPI scorecards; hold partners accountable through regular business reviews and escalation fra meworksNegotiate multi-year contracts with 3PL and carrier partners to secure competitive rates and service comm itmentsIdentify and qualify new logistics partners in support of geographic expansion and network redundancy requi rements Operational Excellence & Digital En ablement Champion technology adoption including TMS, visibility platforms, and predictive analytics tools across the logistics functionEstablish and track logistics KPIs — on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, transit time, damage rates — reporting to executive l eadershipDrive continuous improvement culture within the logistics function using lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven meth odologiesBuild and maintain end-to-end shipment visibility capability across all geographies and logistics partnersLead logistics resilience planning including business continuity, alternate routing, and risk mitigation f timization Manage a multi-million dollar global freight and logistics budget; deliver annual cost reduct ion Build business cases for logistics investments including technology, infrastructure, and new partn er programsLead freight audit and payment processes; ensure billing accuracy and dispute resolution with carrie rs and 3PLsPartner with finance to develop logistics cost models, benchmarks, and scenario planning for busin ess reviews Team & Cross-Functiona l Leadership Build, develop, and lead a high-performing global logistics team across multiple regions a nd time zonesFoster a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous learning, and operational excellence wi thin the teamServe as the logistics subject matter expert in cross-functional initiatives including new product launches, market expansions, and M& A integrationEngage executive stakeholders with clear, data-driven communications on logistics strategy, performan ce, and risks

QUALIFIC

ATIONS Required10+ years of progressive experience in global logistics, transportation, or supply c hain management5+ years in a senior leadership role with direct responsibility for transportation strategy and/o r 3PL oversightDemonstrated experience managing global carrier and 3PL relationships across multiple regions (Americ as, EMEA, APAC)Deep expertise in freight modes including ocean, air, road, and parcel, with strong commercial neg otiation skillsProven ability to manage large, complex budgets and deliver measurable cost reduction and service impro vement outcomesExperience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority across a matrix ed organizationProficiency with TMS platforms, visibility tools, and logistics analytics; comfort with data-driven decision makingBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or g and automation LEADER PreferredMBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Busines s AdministrationAPICS CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent supply cha in certificationExperience operating in a global, high-growth, or publicly traded com pany environmentFamiliarity with global trade compliance, customs processes, and import/export regulations ac ross key marketsExperience with logistics digital transformation initiatives including AI/ML-driven forecastin
