Fertilization Technician

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle, with or without a trailer, on an independent route daily.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns, shrubs, and plant material according to industry standards, label instructions, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records through both paper and digital copies.
• Identify and diagnose turf and ornamental issues, reporting findings to account managers.
• Prepare and mix products following label instructions and product specifications.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle and equipment.
• Utilize equipment such as z-spray, hand spreaders, and other tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in lawn care or a related field.
• Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Physical ability to operate equipment and perform manual labor.
