Required Qualifications:

• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Previous acute care or hospital-based respiratory experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care treatments to patients of varying acuity
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including mechanical ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Perform diagnostic tests and accurately document patient progress
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and care protocols
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment by adhering to facility guidelines
