MDstaffers is seeking a qualified Forensic Psychiatrist in Tacoma, WA. The Forensic Psychiatrist is responsible for guiding the multi-disciplinary treatment teams dedicated to promoting recovery in an inpatient environment. The physician will provide patient-centered care while building lasting relationships to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. This position offers a complete work-life balance by offering competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and no required supplemental hours, like call or weekends.

Details:

• Full-time, locum position
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm or 7:30 am 4:30 pm
• Perform ongoing assessments of the patient's response to treatments
• Develop and review release plans or continued inpatient status
• Examine, diagnose, and prescribe treatment for mentally ill patients
• Prepare reports on treatment programs, hospital policy, and patient progress
• No call required

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Valid Washington medical license
