Electrical Superintendent

Electrical SuperintendentWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects in the field from project kickoff through completion. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in Electrical Construction who can effectively manage field personnel, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily field operations for commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects.Lead and coordinate Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers and other stakeholders.Review project drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure work is completed according to plan.Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower to maintain productivity and project timelines.Conduct daily jobsite planning meetings and communicate project expectations with field personnel.Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, NEC requirements, and company safety policies.Monitor workmanship to ensure quality standards are met throughout all phases of construction.Identify and resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen project challenges.Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure all required documentation is completed.Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and project documentation.Collaborate with Project Managers regarding project progress, labor forecasts, scheduling, and budget considerations.Build positive working relationships with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and project teams.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Foreman managing commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects.Experience leading commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, data center, or institutional electrical projects.Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.Proven experience managing field labor, subcontractors, scheduling, and productivity.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC, and industry best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required depending on state requirements.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Preferred Skills:Strong leadership and team-building abilities.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Strong planning and organizational skills.Effective communication with clients, project managers, and field personnel.High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.What We Offer:Competitive salaryComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceCell phone and laptopProfessional development and career advancement opportunitiesStable backlog of work with a respected electrical contractorIdeal Candidate: The ideal Electrical Superintendent is a respected field leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
