Sign on bonus $1500

Salary: $30 - $35 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care for people in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patient's condition

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members

• Documents the patient's care plan using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions

• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, care plan, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard

• Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical care plan, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions

• Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care

Minimum Requirements:

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices or compact state
• One (1) year nursing experience in a long term acute care facility preferred
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals(including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills proficiency in the English language may be required
