Job Title: Forklift Operator - 1st Shift (Davenport)
Job Description
This 1st shift Forklift Operator role supports the shipping and receiving department by performing a variety of material handling tasks, including operating forklifts to move, stock, and organize inventory within a warehouse environment in East Moline, IL. The position focuses on safe and efficient movement of materials, accurate inventory handling, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Replenish pick locations from overstock locations to ensure order pickers have sufficient inventory available.
• Stock inbound inventory accurately in designated bin and storage locations.
• Assist order pullers with picking and staging large or complex orders as needed.
• Perform bin location re-stocking and stock put-away activities to maintain organized inventory storage.
• Support warehouse re-organization efforts when necessary to improve space utilization and workflow.

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse and receiving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and material movement.
• Experience with inventory handling, picking, and production support activities.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
