What You'll Be Doing
- Design Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies that assist them in reaching their daily living goals
- Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Leverage evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and routine activities
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic methods, ensuring sustained progress at home
- Track Progress and Adjust as Necessary: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans to ensure patients remain on course
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Continuing education and advanced certifications are welcomed and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- A dedication to service and a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their maximum level of independence
- Exceptional, empathetic communication with patients and team members alike
