About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: - Must have experience managing two ventilated patients with multitasking on multiple drip titrations - Weekends required Description: ICU Nights position available. Two years of experience preferred. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications in hand at the time of submission. Candidates will be working with a cardiac patient population. Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients and multiple drip titrations. Interdisciplinary support available includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. Average daily census is 13 patients. Unit features 16 beds. Special procedures may include CRRT and hypothermia protocols. Candidates must have the ability to float to like units if needed. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. All certifications and experience requirements must be met before consideration.
