Public Area Attendant

As a Public Area Attendant, you are the reason those spaces make a great impression. This role is visible, meaningful, and essential to everything we do.

Maintain a spotless, welcoming lobby — the face of our property and the first touchpoint for every guest

Clean and restock all public restrooms throughout your shift, ensuring they meet Hilton brand standards at all times

Keep hallways, elevators, and common areas clean, organized, and free of clutter

Respond promptly to spills, messes, or guest requests — with a smile and without hesitation

Coordinate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to maintain seamless guest-facing operations

Replenish supplies (paper products, soap, amenities) and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team

Uphold Hilton brand cleanliness standards and Kinseth Hospitality Company values in every task

A dependable, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in their work

Ability to stay active throughout an entire shift — this role involves standing, walking, bending, and light lifting

A positive attitude and genuine interest in creating a great guest experience

Previous cleaning, janitorial, or hospitality experience is a plus — but not required; we'll train the right person

Keeps premises of hotel and restaurant in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties

Cleans and polishes hotel lighting fixtures, metalwork, marble surfaces, walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills and trim; sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor, vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies; dusts furniture and equipment

Cleans hotel entryways, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms, offices and other work areas. May clean guest rooms, restaurant, bar, and banquet space as required

Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays, transports trash and waste to disposal area

Replenishes supplies in restrooms and delivers linen to each floor of hotel

Replaces light bulbs

May assist with cleaning of the parking lot area

May assist with guest related items including but not limited to baggage handling, and transporting guests

Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled
