This role requires significant thought leadership and people leadership. Regional Commercial Sales Manager We invite you to lead a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives, where our customers' potential is personal. As a Regional Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following: Leading People Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders Identify goals and objectives, and provide regular and candid feedback through evaluations or coaching sessions Developing Business Plans Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives Understand areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance Engage with the Industry Visit key existing and future customers As a Regional Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll learn: How to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework How to Participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations Position Requirements: Four or more years of previous sales or business experience Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models Ability to work evening and weekend hours Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels Gordon Food Service encourages veterans and active military members to apply Our Culture Gordon Food Service has a people-focused culture forged through camaraderie, teamwork, and inclusion.
