Employed Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider opportunity with a 440 bed, not-for-profit hospital. Work in the largest hospital in Western New York with the regions busiest emergency room. Established 9 physician team with 11 Advanced Practitioners and Hospitalist RN. Hospitalist run codes. Open ICU with Intensivist support. No procedures required. The Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider performs evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice. Develops treatment plans, completes admissions from ED, Performs dictation of H&P examinations, Cross covers for the hospitalist team. Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice. Not open to new grads ideally looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience as an APP. (will consider family practice or geriatric certification with recent acute care experience)
