Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Accounting Specialists for multiple companies throughout the Shreveport and Bossier area. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or general office accounting functions.

These opportunities range from entry-level accounting support positions to more experienced accounting and bookkeeping roles. Both temporary assignments and long-term evaluation hire opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Maintain spreadsheets and accounting databases
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Provide general administrative and office support as needed

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or office administration experience preferred
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Degree or certification in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred for some positions
