For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $4,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Patient Service Specialists!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Transfer Center Specialist role is responsible for facilitating patient transfers and consultations, managing assignments of Emergency Department, admissions to Hospital Medicine service and providing support to all care team members to facilitate timely access to the hospital.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School degree or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: EMS Certification (does not need to be current) or five years of relevant experience required.
3. Experience: See license/certification.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Microsoft Office, EMR and TeleTracking experience.
