Home office is located within Winston-Salem, NC. If you have 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment , they want to hear from you! GPS and/or Caterpillar controls experience is a plus! Why Excavator Operators Join and Stay with the North State Team: ABOVE AVERAGE PAY! – $25.00-$30.00 based on experience and qualifications.* Jr. Excavator Operator positions available $23.00-$25.00 per hour. *Skill sets may qualify applicant for pay higher than posted pay range. Some Travel Required – Most projects are within the Southeast US but can be regional. The instability and erosion of streams and rivers causes loss of riparian vegetation such as trees and shrubs. Essential Functions Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in Pipe Installation, General Grading, & Site preparation. Excavators w/ Hydraulic Thumbs Bulldozer Wheel Loaders Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of the Project Manager, Safety Director, or Human Resources Manager as needed. Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in equipment training. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor, clean equipment.
