Job Description
The main responsibility of a Production Operator is to process customer materials through our spray drying operation and prepare finished materials for shipment back to the customer.
Specific Primary Duties:
- Operate forklift to store outgoing customer material
- Assist with preparing customer material for entry into the spray dryers
- Assist with blending and cooling customer material
- Assist with packaging and storing customer finished material
- Assist with packaging and storing scrap material
- Populate Container Data Sheets in an accurate and complete manner
- Assist with cleaning spray dryers and related equipment
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in the spray drying industry preferred but not required
- Experience working at an industrial site required
- Ability to understand and follow instructions from superiors
- Team player
- Pro-active self-starter requiring minimal supervision
