ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and follow safe work practices.

• Assist in loading trucks with finished goods or designated items and provide a bill of lading detailing what has been loaded.

• Keep the loading area, both inside the shop/yard and outside the shop/yard, clean and free of debris.

• Perform other related duties as directed by the Manager, including but not limited to: housekeeping and assisting other employees in the performance of their jobs.

• Work in a team environment and conduct yourself in a professional manner when working with other employees and/or contractors.

• Strong sense of time organization and urgency

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Verify incoming and/or outgoing material for accuracy and quality against paperwork

• Packaging Parts for Shipment

• Inspect products to be received or shipped for damage and report any issues to a supervisor

• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment as needed to move heavy or bulky items

• Count and document the number of units loaded and unloaded

• Keep the unloading & loading area clean and organized and free of debris

• Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required

• Perform other duties as required that may fall outside the normal scope of work

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty daily.

• Strong organization skills

• Detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products

• Strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills

• Must manage time effectively

• **Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory management software is preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs. occasionally.

• Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.

• Physically fit to work in an industrial environment and tolerate exposure to varying physical conditions.

• Must be able to work extended hours when necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Industrial warehouse and manufacturing environment with heavy machinery, and overhead cranes.

• Use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear is required.

• Interaction with team members, leads, and supervisors is frequent and necessary.
