There's a seat at our table for you...Position Summary:The Accounts Payable Supervisor supervises a team of employees within their specific area of FSS. Ensures day-to-day processing, participates in the monthly closing process where appropriate, and follows through on tasks. Manages all aspects of the direct team’s performance, time and attendance, goals, and performance reviews. Identifies opportunities for improvements and works with various departments to develop and execute action plans.What you will do:Interviews, hires, and develops staff and ensures proper trainingEnsures GFS policy and procedures of team are being followedConducts employee performance review annually and as needed, along with maintaining employee incentive programsEnsures team and individual completion of work is timely and accurate in order to meet/exceed Department Goals/MetricsParticipates in the coordination and facilitation of regular team meetingsParticipates in Business Process Review and AlignmentParticipates in projects and system testingExcellent Customer Service and problem resolution skillsConduct monthly reconciliation, balancing, and variance analysis of accounts.Demonstrate commitment to business ethics and drive integrity, accountability, collaboration, and trust across the company. Adheres to the mission statement and cornerstone values of Gordon Food Service.Other duties and responsibilities as assignedWhen you will work:Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.What you bring to the table:Two-years previous Accounting experience with Bachelor Degree or five-years previous Accounting experience without Bachelor's Degree, and one year of previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with three years of experience preferred.Knowledge of industry trends specific to Shared Services processing.Moderate math skills for use in Excel and analytics.Problem solving, comparing, analyzing, coordinating, copying, etc.Reading (standard and technical), writing (business, technical, copy, etc.), speaking (basic, conversational)Customer service and relationship building.Self-directed, organized, meet deadlines, and able to make prioritization assessments.Moderate to advanced Excel knowledge.
