Tableau Developer

Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• We require at least 4 years of experience in IT software development, program leadership, software business analysis, or an equivalent blend of education, certification, training, and experience.
• We value Tableau certification; PMI credentials such as CAPM or PMP are preferred.
• We prefer IIBA business analysis credentials such as CBAP.
• We need strong experience developing and maintaining advanced Tableau reports, analytics, and dashboards.
• We require proficiency with SQL and relational databases for dashboard creation and data analysis.
• We need hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, and upgrading Tableau Server environments.
• We require knowledge of business needs analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation.
• We expect strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• We need the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• We expect the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities with flexibility.
• We require skill in Microsoft Office applications.
• We need the ability to commute using personal transportation and travel up to 25% of the time.

• We manage Tableau Server environments and sites to ensure stability, availability, and ongoing maintenance.
• We build and publish interactive dashboards and reporting content.
• We administer Tableau infrastructure, including groups, workbooks, projects, database views, data sources, and data connections.
• We use SQL and data storage methods to gather and prepare data from multiple sources.
• We lead Tableau-related initiatives by overseeing business needs, enhancement requests, and delivery timelines.
• We partner with internal users and external vendors to translate business and information goals into actionable plans.
• We facilitate meetings with stakeholders to assess current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• We design, maintain, and enforce Tableau best practices and governance standards.
• We collaborate with internal IT teams to support a well-structured, reliable, and highly available analytics environment.
• We document business requirements, design analysis, and adoption needs.
• We serve as a liaison between end users and IT to align expectations and drive execution.
• We support program management activities tied to application and reporting enhancements.
