Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Lake Success, NY. Job Details: Schedule: varies from 7:30am-6pm Location: Lake Success, NY Job Type: Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks (Possibility of extension) Pay Range: $22/hr- $23.40/hr Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties:

• Perform routine venipuncture and capillary (finger-stick) blood collections for pediatric and adult patients.
• Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers prior to specimen collection.
• Identify correct specimen types, follow the order of draw, and ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens.
• Navigate the Laboratory Information System (LIS) accurately with minimal errors.
• Troubleshoot basic LIS issues and collaborate with the LIS support team when necessary.
