Security Operations Specialist

Operations SpecialistWe are seeking an Operations Specialist to support the accessibility of security reference data. This role involves the reconciliation and validation of data between vendors and our team, ensuring accuracy for critical business areas such as trading and trade confirmation generation. The position requires a proactive individual who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data validation and reconciliation for investment securities.Ensure security data is set up accurately for business use, such as when a new bond comes to market.Manage and execute operational needs in a dynamic environment.Communicate throughout the day to ensure adequate team coverage for all functions.Identify opportunities for process improvement.Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized.Provide high-quality customer service.Required QualificationsEducation: A high school diploma is required.Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry with a basic knowledge of securities and data is required. 3-6 years of experience is preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Outlook, Teams) is required.Preferred QualificationsA Bachelor's degree.Experience with the ICE security platform.Experience with Bloomberg.Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position. The candidate must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM CST.
