School Occupational Therapist | Palo Alto, California

A full-time occupational therapy position is available, providing comprehensive support across three schools in the Palo Alto, CA area. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, delivering both direct and consultative services in an educational setting.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students, including both direct intervention and consultation.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and evaluate students' needs to support their academic and functional goals.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with appropriate credentials to work in California.
• Experience in school-based OT services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to manage a caseload that includes both direct services and consultative roles.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across three different school sites.

Location: Palo Alto, CA (travel between three schools required)


Position Details:

• Full-time contract position (8 hours per day)
• Caseload: Approximately 22 direct service students and 13 consultative cases.
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $55 to $70.
