Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care services to patients ranging from newborns through geriatrics
• Manage critical care and general patient care assignments in a predominantly predictable setting
• Perform related patient care activities in accordance with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Practice Act
• Maintain accountability to the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care within the defined scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA-approved training program in respiratory care
• Current North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across a broad patient population including neonatal and geriatric care
• Familiarity with critical care respiratory therapy in an acute care environment
