Job Summary:
A position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is available in California. This role involves providing acute patient care in the recovery setting, with responsibilities including ensuring patient stability and recovery following procedures. The position is located in a healthcare facility and requires candidates to demonstrate recent clinical experience.

Job Details:

• Shift: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Procedural Sedation Competency
  • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or PACU environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient setting
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
• Additional Information:
  • The candidate must have a valid license and certifications as listed above
  • The assignment is set to start on 07/27/2026
