Laboratory Technician

Job Summary – Microbiology Laboratory Technician We are looking for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician with hands‑on experience in food microbiology testing to support daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microbiological media preparation, food sample testing, laboratory documentation, and aseptic techniques . Experience in the food industry is preferred, though candidates with a strong microbiology laboratory background will also be considered. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or a related field with 2–3 years of food microbiology laboratory experience . OR a minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on food microbiology laboratory experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Practical experience with food microbiological testing methods in a laboratory environment. Knowledge of microbiological media preparation, aseptic techniques, laboratory safety practices, and quality documentation . Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
