Recreation Coordinator - Parker at Somerset Adult Day Center - Full time - $23.00 hourly rate - The areas highest quality adult day center providing a warm and compassionate environment - 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday - The Recreation Coordinator will provide activities of a physical, mental and spiritual nature tailored to the individual abilities, needs and desires of those we serve in order to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* B.A. or B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation, Creative Arts Therapy or in related field required; be certified or eligible for certification as an Activity Director Certified - ADC within (1) one year. * Minimum two years’ experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.

• Current driver’s license in good standing required.
• Flexible to assist at other Parker Adult Day Centers as needed
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement may be required

Parker Adult Day Center (Highland Park) Parker offers two Adult Day programs in Highland Park to address the issues of loneliness and isolation experienced by many elders who are aging at home. Social Program employees provide varied and vibrant activities that encourage and motivate seniors to stay connected to their peers, maintain their independence, bringing meaning and enjoyment to their days. Our Medical Program provides the added benefits of individualized medication administration, support services, personal and therapeutic care. Parker Adult Day Center is staffed with people who are committed to meeting the needs of our program participants. Our nursing staff and social workers create individualized care plans to provide the best possible medical care, from blood pressure checks to medication management.
