Responsibilities Prepping and baking bagels Open Bake (starting between 4:00am-4:30am) Making all dough mixtures in a timely manner using correct procedures Understand rotation and shelf life of raw dough Clean and disinfect work area; set‑up and break‑down workstation; follow sanitation and cleaning procedures Proof bagels Recognize the importance of time and temperature Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Knead and shape dough Operate machinery to mix, knead, and shape dough Monitor the quality of the dough throughout the process Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements Willingness to work early (starting as early as 4:00am) and on weekends Team player in a small, hot space with high demand Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly under pressure Experience with bakery or restaurant work is a bonus Disciplined, fast, and takes pride in consistency and quality Must be available for open bakery shift coverage and occasional front‑of‑house duties such as cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, cookie baking, dishwashing, general cleaning, and front‑of‑house service when needed Schedule Job types: Full‑time, Part‑time Expected hours: 20–40 per week Shift options: 10‑hour shift, 8‑hour shift, day shift, weekends Schedule flexibility with early start and weekend availability required Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Safe work environment Compensation Tips #J-18808-Ljbffr Nothing Bundt Cakes
