Quick Facts Location: St. Louis, Missouri Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date/Duration: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day shift, 4x8-hour (08:00 - 17:00) Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Locum to Perm / Permanent License/Certs: Missouri and Illinois licenses (preferred for telehealth) Experience: 2-5 years minimum, strong genetic and metabolic evaluation skills Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $156.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Conduct general genetics evaluations for pediatric and occasional adult patients Manage biochemical and metabolic disorder cases Provide inpatient consults in PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Collaborate with genetic counselors and multidisciplinary teams Support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning Document using EPIC EMR system Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations What You Need Required: Board Certified in Genetics (MD or DO) State licenses for Missouri and Illinois (or eligible to obtain) BLS certification Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in genetics and metabolic disorders Strong diagnostic skills in genetics and metabolic conditions Preferred: Experience with inpatient and outpatient pediatric genetics Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams About the Assignment Join one of the top-ranked children’s hospitals in the US, located in a new, state-of-the-art facility set to open in 2027.
