PLANT FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Monday - Friday
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
$16.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Operate forklift safely and in compliance with company procedures
- Perform pre-shift inspections and submit maintenance requests as needed
- Locate and deliver appropriate stock to machines promptly
- Remove finished goods and maintain neat, safe, and organized stock storage
- Accurately complete and maintain paperwork and computer records for stock locations
- Assist in meeting production schedules and suggest optimizations
- Support other forklift operators and act as backup to Shipping Lead
- Report production, quality, safety, and operational data accurately and on time
- Follow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current and valid Lift Truck Operator License required
- Ability to read instructions, tape measures, and production documents
- Strong basic math skills, including measurement, volume, and rate calculations
- Working knowledge of forklift operation, stock movement, and production standards
- Ability to apply common sense to solve routine issues and follow written or verbal directions
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, and working in loud and variable environments
- Preferred:
- Experience in the corrugated industry
- Prior forklift operation experience
