Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Location: Socorro, New Mexico

Pay Rate:$3,000 To $3,200 per day

Contract: Ongoing Locum Assignment

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Experience: Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN experience required

Incidentals provided by facility: Lodging $132/day Rental Car $40/day

About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity at Socorro General Hospital in Socorro, New Mexico. This position combines outpatient clinic responsibilities with Labor & Delivery and on-call coverage. The ideal provider is committed to delivering exceptional women's healthcare, managing low- and high-risk pregnancies, and performing a broad range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care and manage Labor & Delivery patients.

• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetric procedures.

• Evaluate and treat gynecologic conditions, including surgical and laparoscopic procedures.

• Interpret fetal heart monitoring and perform OB ultrasound evaluations as required.

• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician with OB/GYN residency training.

• Active New Mexico Medical License or ability to obtain one.

• Current BLS Certification required.

• Recent experience meeting hospital privileging criteria, including required case logs.

• Proficiency in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, gynecologic surgery, and EPIC EMR.
