Come join us and help shape the future!WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Vice President, Project & Program Management to work in Denver, ColoradoYour ImpactServe in a Program Manager role overseeing on behalf of client the delivery of highway/highway bridge improvement projects delivered via CMGC or potentially various alternative delivery methods Oversee the delivery of a program of multiple connected projects through the planning, design, construction and closeout phasesDevelop Project Management Plans to include Program Controls, Document Control, Design Management, Risk Management, Safety Management, Quality Control, and Environmental ComplianceManage the commercial interest of the client while driving on-time and on-budget program deliveryResponsible for independent review of program progress; perform schedule review and analysisProvide solutions to project issuesReview and strategize improvement to key operational performance metricsSupport and empower staff and direct reports to execute project assignments on time and on budgetDevelop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients, agencies, partner firms and sub-consultants, contractors, as well as other external stakeholders such as vendors and suppliers.Lead staff development which includes mentoring, training, coaching and professional development.Accountable for overall management and successful execution of major programs within the transportation market, monitoring internal and external events, expenses, performance, and profitability.Create a learning culture that values innovative subject matter expertise and fosters effective and continual personal development. Develop and implement a communication strategy to increase the effectiveness of client/program management/CMGC team processes, systems, and practices, and mitigating risks. Serve as program management discipline subject matter expert to a variety of internal / external entities including Federal, State, and Local Agencies, Clients, Subcontractors, industry-related groups, and various government and community entities.Manage overall delivery team’s performance and provide inspiring leadership to assigned management and staff.Develop extensive high-level business contacts and client base for providing program management services including identifying additional business development opportunities, and cross-selling of other WSP capabilities.Collaborate with professionals and senior leadership from a variety of disciplines to provide future ready solutions for clients.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Who You AreMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringPE LicenseExtensive experience as a Program Manager overseeing CMGC and/or alternate delivery of highway/highway bridge improvement programs with construction costs exceeding $1 billion15+ years of relevant experienceProven track record of client satisfaction providing Program Management Oversight services for similar toll road roadway improvement and renewal/replacement programsAction oriented decision maker and creative/collaborative problem solver; able to adapt to issues as they arise and focus program team on progressAbility to inspire team and build stakeholder trustManage challenging political dynamics with ability to recognize political influences on the programStrong oral and written communication skills with ability to deal with conflicts and to deliver hard news to stakeholdersExcellent computer skill - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Preferred Qualifications:MS degree in EngineeringPMP CertificationWSP Benefits: WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. Compensation:Expected Salary (Colorado only): $270,000-$310,000/yearWSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
